Following a meeting between YSTP chairman Darioush Pourserajian, Deputy Director for Management Development and Fundraising Daliri from the Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology, Iranian embassy representative in Tbilisi Shahvelayati, a representative from the Technological and Innovative Development Agency of Georgia, and the Iranian and Georgian technological companies participating in the 2nd commercial forum taking place between the two countries, the Iran-Georgia Technology Exchange Office was officially started.

The office, YSTP Public Relations reports, was established after YSTP and the Technological Innovative Development Agency of Georgia signed an agreement August 9, 2018.

Among the responsibilities and activities of the office will be to help extend international participation of companies, develop international counselling, create regional markets, help identify commercial partners, and hold technological events.
