Accompanying a delegation of the heads of the Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Yazd governor representatives, and CEOs of over 50 technological companies, YSTP chairman Darioush Pourserajian traveled to Georgia to attend the second B2B commercial meeting, and visited the country’s Techno Park.
An agreement, YSTP Public Relations reports, was signed between YSTP and the Technological and Innovative Development Agency of Georgia, the stipulations of which were set out to be realized through various ways, including establishing the Iran-Georgia Technology Exchange Office at YSTP as well as holding the first B2B meeting in Tbilisi since last year.
After last year’s successful experience and the positive response from technological companies to the plans laid out by the Technology Exchange Center, the second meeting will be taking place on August 9 on the industries of construction, agriculture, electronics, and healthcare, and 50 Iranian companies and numerous Georgian ones will be attending, too.
It should also be noted that among the objectives of this trip are establishing the Iran-Georgia Technology Exchange Office in Tbilisi, establishing a permanent fair for Iranian construction products, and negotiating with Georgian authorities about extending collaboration.
Furthermore, Iran’s second B2B commercial meeting with Georgia will be taking place on August 8 and 9 in Georgia with representatives from 50 Iranian knowledge-based and technological companies attending, aiming to establish commercial relations between Iranian and Georgian knowledge-based companies.
