Signing the Memorandum of Understanding between Yazd Science and Technology Park and Uni Trans Tech (Technology Transfer Center of UPM University of Malaysia)
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Yazd Science and Technology Park and Technology Transfer Center of UPM University at the embassy of Iran in Malaysia in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador to Malaysia, Mohammad Saleh, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia and Samsila, Head of Technology Transfer Center of UPM University.
According to the public relations of Yazd Science and Technology Park, based on this memorandum, Uni Trans Tech is committed to cooperation in helping to sell the products of Iranian technology companies in Malaysia, facilitating the presence of technology companies of both sides in specialized exhibitions of the two countries, facilitating the participation of students from both sides in the National Iranian Student Initiatives and Innovation Competition as well as the Malaysian Invention Competition.
In a meeting held on the sidelines of the signing of this memorandum, Ahmad Reza Faghih Khorasani, Deputy Minister of Technology and Innovation of Yazd Science and Technology Park, while emphasizing the importance of knowledge-based economy, government support for technology companies and expanding international markets for their products, explained the activities and performance of this park.
The Iranian ambassador to Malaysia, referring to the rapid growth of science and technology in the world, stressed the importance of scientific relations between the countries and noted that the potentials and scientific level of the two sides must be taken into account. While appreciating the organizers of the Student Initiative and Innovation Competitions, he announced the readiness of the Iran embassy to hold these competitions as well as possible.
